Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
This policy applies to orders, scheduled meals, subscriptions and other purchases made through Tumyto, operated by MS Brahmas Solutions. Please read it together with the meal-specific terms and cutoff times shown in the Tumyto app before you pay. By confirming a purchase, you agree to the terms shown for that purchase and this policy, subject to your rights under applicable law.
1. Order acceptance
Orders and subscriptions depend on meal and provider availability, delivery serviceability, the displayed delivery schedule and successful payment. Tumyto or the provider may decline or cancel a purchase if fulfilment is not reasonably possible. If a prepaid meal is cancelled by Tumyto or the provider for a reason not attributable to you, the full applicable meal value will initially be credited to your Tumyto Wallet. You may contact support if you seek a refund to your original payment method. After a fair investigation, Tumyto's admin team may approve a bank or original-payment-method refund instead of the Wallet credit. The corresponding Wallet credit will then be reversed or deducted before that refund is issued so the same amount is not paid twice. Refunds required by applicable law or payment-system rules will be processed accordingly.
2. Cancelling a subscription
You may cancel a subscription in the app. Before you confirm cancellation, the app will show the eligible unused value to be credited to your Tumyto Wallet. This value includes only future meals that have not been delivered and whose applicable cancellation cutoff has not passed. Meals already delivered, or past their applicable cutoff, are excluded. The cutoff for each meal is displayed in the app before purchase and when managing the subscription.
After you confirm cancellation, Tumyto will credit the eligible unused value to your Wallet. Customer-initiated subscription cancellation does not produce a bank or original-payment-method refund, except where required by applicable law. The credited balance can be used for future eligible purchases on Tumyto.
3. Cancelling or skipping an individual meal
An individual scheduled meal can be cancelled or skipped for credit only before the cutoff shown for that meal in the app. For a confirmed single-meal order, contact customer support to request cancellation before its displayed cutoff. For a subscription meal, use the available skip or cancellation control in the app.
Once the applicable cutoff has passed, a customer-initiated cancellation or skip is no longer eligible for credit, unless Tumyto confirms an exception or applicable law requires a remedy. If an eligible meal is successfully cancelled or skipped before the cutoff, its applicable value will be credited to the Tumyto Wallet. The app or support confirmation will show the resulting credit.
4. Pauses and meal changes
Where the app offers these features, you may pause a subscription or change an upcoming meal before the cutoff shown for that meal. A pause may reschedule a meal, adjust the subscription or credit the applicable meal value to your Wallet; the result will be shown before you confirm. A meal change may increase or decrease the price. The app will show any amount payable or Wallet adjustment before confirmation. Requests are subject to availability.
5. Tumyto Wallet
The Tumyto Wallet may hold customer-added funds, unused subscription value, skip or pause credits, price adjustments, service credits and promotional credits. They appear as a common usable balance and can be applied on the same terms to eligible subscriptions, renewals, single meals and other purchases for which the app offers Wallet payment. No Wallet expiry is imposed under this policy.
Wallet funds cannot ordinarily be withdrawn as cash or transferred to a bank account. Cancellation and service adjustments are initially credited to the Wallet, including when Tumyto or a provider cancels a prepaid meal. After a fair investigation, Tumyto's admin team may approve a bank or original-payment-method refund in place of a particular Wallet credit. The corresponding credit will be reversed or deducted as part of that resolution. If some or all of that credit has already been spent, Tumyto will take that use into account when deciding whether any further refund is due; it will not deduct unrelated Wallet funds without explaining the adjustment. Refunds or reversals required by law or payment-system rules will be handled accordingly.
6. Customer unavailability and delivery point
Meals are handed over at the designated collection point shown for the delivery location, such as the building gate or main entrance. Tumyto does not provide doorstep delivery. Please be available during the communicated delivery period and arrange any required society, office, PG, hostel or security access in advance. Delivery personnel are not required to wait for access approval, visitor registration or entry-pass generation.
If a delivery cannot be completed because you are unavailable, cannot be contacted, do not collect the meal at the designated point, provide an incorrect or inaccessible location, or have not arranged necessary access, the attempt may be recorded as unsuccessful due to customer unavailability. Where Tumyto can reasonably establish that the meal was brought to the agreed point during the delivery period, no refund, redelivery, replacement or Wallet credit will ordinarily be provided, subject to applicable law. Tumyto will investigate a disputed attempt using available delivery records.
7. Credits and failed payments
Eligible Wallet credits will generally be issued within 7 working days after the amount is confirmed. If a refund to the bank or original payment method is approved after admin investigation, Tumyto will notify you of the decision and any Wallet adjustment, then generally initiate the refund within 7 working days of approval. The same timing generally applies to refunds required by law, subject to any shorter mandatory timeline. Your bank, card network, UPI provider or payment service provider may take additional time to display a refund or reversal.
If your account is debited but no order or subscription is confirmed, contact support with the payment reference. If Tumyto received the money, we will reconcile the payment and either complete the purchase with your agreement or initially credit the full amount to your Wallet. You may request an admin review for a refund instead; if approved, the corresponding Wallet credit will be reversed before the refund is issued. Refunds or reversals required by law or payment-system rules will be processed accordingly. If the payment did not reach Tumyto, the reversal follows the payment provider's applicable process and timelines; support can help you trace it. A failed payment is not treated as a customer-initiated subscription cancellation.
8. Incorrect, incomplete or unsafe meals
Contact support as soon as reasonably possible if a meal is incorrect, materially incomplete, damaged or appears unsafe. We may ask for photographs and order details to investigate promptly with the provider. Depending on the facts, the resolution may be a replacement, an adjustment or Wallet credit. After a fair investigation, the admin team may approve a bank or original-payment-method refund instead, with any corresponding Wallet credit reversed or deducted. Nothing in this section limits rights available under applicable law.
9. Misuse and complaints
Tumyto may investigate suspected fraud or manipulation involving refunds, skips or credits, and may restrict an account on reasonable grounds. We will review genuine complaints and any disputed delivery or Wallet transaction. Restrictions do not remove legitimate customer rights.
